ONDINE
The wines are from the cool West Coast of South Africa, about 40 miles north of Cape Town. The vineyards are close to the town of Darling and are 4 miles from the cold Atlantic Ocean and 1,000ft above sea level. The vineyards are not irrigated and have deep red clay soils, that retain the moisture from the winter rain for the dry summers. The climate is similar to that of the Sonoma Coast in California.
